On the morning of the tour, your guide will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to Avatoru marina. During the Blue Lagoon tour in Rangiroa, you will participate in several activities: snorkeling, weaving demonstration, observation of juvenile sharks. After lunch, you will have some free time to enjoy a swim or a walk in front of the vastness of Rangiroa’s lagoon.

Program and Itinerary

Pick-Up at Your Hotel

You will be picked up directly at your hotel in Rangiroa at 8:20 am. Departure for the Blue Lagoon is scheduled at 9:00 am, from the marina of Avatoru.

Excursion to the Blue Lagoon of Rangiroa

Your tour begins… The trip to Rangiroa Blue Lagoon takes about 60 minutes. Your guide will take the opportunity to introduce you to the Paumotu culture and the island life of the inhabitants. Faced with the immensity of the lagoon, you will have the impression of crossing a real inland sea!

Discovery of a Shark Nursery

Upon arrival, you will see one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world. The immersion continues with the discovery and observation of a shark nursery. The juvenile sharks have found a perfect shelter there and you will be able to swim in shallow water in complete safety. A fascinating experience in contact with an incredible biodiversity.

Lunch Stop on a Motu

The adventure continues with the visit of a private motu, lost between the lagoon and the ocean. A lunch awaits you, with barbecue, coconut bread and the unavoidable Tahitian raw fish. You will then participate in a traditional weaving workshop. Before leaving the place, you will enjoy a little free time for swimming and photo opportunities.

Snorkeling in Avatoru pass

On the way back, you’ll stop at Avatoru Pass, a must-see site for drift snorkeling. Carried by the current, you will swim next to harmless black tip sharks and numerous rays. Grab your mask and snorkel so you don’t miss any of the aquatic spectacle!

Drop-off at Your Hotel

At the end of this 8-hour excursion, your guide will take you back to your hotel, after a day rich in discoveries and encounters, for unforgettable memories. See you soon on Rangiroa atoll!

Availability Confirmation

Note that we will first confirm the availability of your booking before processing the payment. It means that you will not be charged right away if you use a credit card, or that you will have to wait the confirmation before sending a payment with a bank wire. As soon as we confirm availability, we’ll inform you by email. If there’s no availability on the chosen date, we’ll get back in touch with you to suggest another one.

Deposit and Remaining Balance

When booking online, you’ll only need to make a 15% confirmation deposit to confirm your tour. You’ll be able to settle the remaining balance later on, either with a wire or when you’re already in Rangiroa. For example, you can choose to settle your balance on when you’re picked up at your hotel in the morning of your tour.

Cancellation Policy

Please note our booking cancellation policy. At the very least, a cancellation fee of 15% will be charged. Less than one week before the tour date, the cancellation fee is 100%. If weather conditions do not allow the tour to be organized, and only after confirmation from the guide, cancellation fees do not apply and a full refund will be made.
