Your first dive initiation will take place in the afternoon, with a meeting time at 1:30pm. After a briefing, you will board the boat and take the direction of the site of your first dive in Moorea, in the Papetoai Lagoon. The return will be in the late afternoon, after an experience that should make you want to explore the underwater world even more!

Program and Itinerary

Meeting at the Dive Center

The meeting at the dive center will be at 1:30pm. From there, you’ll get a briefing with your diving instructor, which will let you know the safety rules, functioning of the scuba diving gear and what to expect from your first dive in Moorea.

First Dive Experience

After getting on the boat, you’ll reach the site of your first dive, in the Papetoai Lagoon. This site is specially chosen for its shallow waters and safe environment. During that time, you’ll discover a whole new underwater world in the ideal setting of Moorea lagoon. Your dive will last around 30 minutes, with a maximum depth of 6 meters.

Back to the Dive Center

After your introduction to diving, you will return to the center where you can debrief your experience with your diving instructor. This is the time to identify the fish and underwater animals you will have seen, and maybe to think about getting your level 1 scuba diving certification to become a certified diver!

Booking and Confirmation

Booking Options

You can make a reservation online today by using the booking options and selecting the number of participants and date for your diving baptism in Moorea. To begin your booking, simply click on “Book Now” and follow the check out process.

Availability Confirmation

Please note that we will first confirm the availability of your reservation before processing the payment. This means that you will not be charged immediately if you use a credit card, or that you will have to wait for confirmation before sending a payment by bank transfer. As soon as we have confirmed availability, we will inform you by e-mail. If there is no availability on the chosen date, we will contact you again to propose another date.

Deposit and Remaining Balance

When booking online, you will only need to pay a 20% deposit to confirm your first scuba dive. You will be able to settle the remaining balance in cash or by credit card when you are in Moorea, before starting the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Please note our booking cancellation policy. At the very least, a cancellation fee of 15% will be charged. Less than one week before the tour date, the cancellation fee is 100%. If weather conditions do not allow the tour to be organized, and only after confirmation from the guide, cancellation fees do not apply and a full refund will be made. Your understanding of these guidelines helps us to provide optimum service to all our customers.
