Description

The level 1 diver certificate allows you to practice scuba diving under the supervision of a diving instructor. Spend your training in Moorea, to enjoy scuba diving everywhere in French Polynesia (and in the rest of the world). This course includes 5 dives spread over 4 days. It is accessible from the age of 8.

To access the Level 1 Dive Pack in Moorea, you will need to produce a medical certificate of fitness for scuba diving, which you can obtain from your doctor. Your level 1 certification will begin with a dive baptism on the first day. The following three days, the theoretical training will be done at the same time as the practical training.

Certification Program

Day 1: First Dive

On the first day, you will make your first dive in Moorea, in the Papetoai Lagoon. The departure will be at 1:30pm. Your first dive will last about 30 minutes and you will go to a depth of 6 meters. With the help of your instructor, you will fill in your logbook for the very first time, with your parameters and what you saw underwater.

Day 2: Learning and Diving

On the second day, you will begin the Level 1 dive training itself. The meeting point is at 1:30 pm at the center, for a dive with your instructor, with a maximum depth of 12 meters. Back at the center, you will be able to debrief your second day of certification and the application of the exercises seen with them.

Day 3: Learning and Diving

You will meet your instructor at the center at 1:30 pm, to continue the training and the practice. You will do another dive, and then you will be able to debrief this new experience and what you have learned with your instructor.

Day 4: Dives and Certification

The last day of your training will start at 7:30 am at the dive center. There you will complete the final elements of the training necessary to obtain your certification. You will then make two successive dives in the ocean at a depth of 15 and 20 meters. At the end of the day, you will obtain your Level 1 scuba diving certification in Moorea. Congratulations!

Availability Confirmation

Please note that we will first confirm the availability of your reservation before processing the payment. This means that you will not be charged immediately if you use a credit card, or that you will have to wait for confirmation before sending a payment by bank transfer. As soon as we have confirmed availability, we will inform you by e-mail. If there is no availability on the chosen date, we will contact you again to propose another date.

Deposit and Remaining Balance

When booking online, you will only need to pay a 20% deposit to confirm your first scuba certification level. You will be able to settle the remaining balance in cash or by credit card when you are in Moorea, before starting the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Please note our booking cancellation policy. At the very least, a cancellation fee of 15% will be charged. Less than one week before the tour date, the cancellation fee is 100%. If weather conditions do not allow the tour to be organized, and only after confirmation from the guide, cancellation fees do not apply and a full refund will be made.
