Your day tour on Huahine Lagoon will feature a variety of stops, all of them more exotic than the others. Snorkeling in a natural aquarium and coral garden, tour of the island, and picnic on a paradise motu… Your guides will make you feel all the Polynesian kindness thanks to the atmosphere on board and the historical and cultural explanations around the sites you will visit.

Program and Itinerary

Departure from Fare

The departure of the excursion will be at 9:30 am at the village of Fare, the boat’s mooring base. As an option, a transfer from your accommodation is possible by car, from 2 persons. You will then be contacted for the time of your pick-up.

Round the Island

Your tour of Huahine iti, “little Huahine” in Tahitian, will follow the steps and activities described below. You will sail on the turquoise waters of the lagoon in a motorized outrigger canoe, sheltered from the Polynesian sun. During the navigation, your captain and your guide will give you a tour with commentary, full of Polynesian history and culture.

Diving in Natural Aquarium

You will make a first stop for a snorkeling dive, to discover the lagoon. You will take advantage of this moment out of time to swim in the middle of rays and black tip sharks (totally harmless!).

Snorkeling in the Coral Garden

You will then stop at the coral garden, for a snorkeling session with mask and snorkel. Another way to dive into the magic of Huahine! Observe and admire tropical fish with incredible colors, manta rays or turtles… An underwater paradise in paradise!

Picnic on a Paradise Motu

What could be better than a lunch break with your feet in the water, on an islet in the heart of the lagoon, to appreciate this moment out of time! On the menu: raw fish prepared on site, grilled chicken, rice salad, mixed salad and local fruits. Enjoy a selection of fresh and sparkling local drinks (soft drinks, punch, beer, water and fruit juices) to refresh yourself.

Back to Fare

Your day ends with a return to Fare at 4:00 pm, but your memories will remain forever! Depending on where you are staying, you will be driven back from Fare.

Booking and Confirmation

Booking Options

You can make a booking online today by using the booking options: number of participants, and the name of your hotel in Huahine. To start your booking, simply click on “Book Now” and follow the checkout process.

Availability Confirmation

Note that we will first confirm the availability of your booking before processing the payment. It means that you will not be charged right away if you use a credit card, or that you will have to wait the confirmation before sending a payment with a bank wire. As soon as we confirm availability, we’ll inform you by email. If there’s no availability on the chosen date, we’ll get back in touch with you to suggest another one.

Deposit and Remaining Balance

When booking online, you’ll only need to make a 20% confirmation deposit to confirm your tour. You’ll be able to settle the remaining balance later on, either with a wire or when you’re already in Huahine. For example, you can choose to settle your balance on when you’re picked up at your hotel in the morning of your tour.

Cancellation Policy

Please note our booking cancellation policy. At the very least, a cancellation fee of 15% will be charged. Less than one week before the tour date, the cancellation fee is 100%. If weather conditions do not allow the tour to be organized, and only after confirmation from the guide, cancellation fees do not apply and a full refund will be made. Your understanding of these guidelines helps us to provide optimum service to all our customers.
