Set off from Uturoa, through the botanical gardens of Faaroa, and on to the marae of Taputapuatea, all the while enjoying the beauty of the island’s east coast. Going clockwise, you’ll return via the west coast as the sun sets over the ocean.

Electric Bikes

The electric-assist bike requires physical effort, as the assistance is only activated when pedaling. Electric assistance, active up to 15.5 mph, lets you enjoy the scenery at your own pace. Above all, it enables you to climb hills without any particular effort. With a range of 100 km, these bikes are ideal for touring the island.

Simple Rental From Uturoa

Departing from Uturoa, you pick up your electric bikes and set off for the day. At the end of your tour, you’ll return the bikes to the starting point. Touring the island requires a full day, including breaks and stops at places of interest.

Comfort : Simple Transfer to the Botanical Gardens

If you choose this option, you’ll be taken to the Faaroa Botanical Gardens. There, you’ll pick up the electric-assist bikes and begin your tour. This option saves you 10 miles and lets you make the most of the southern coastal scenery. You’ll drop off the bikes at the end of the day in Uturoa.

Comfort Plus : Return Transfer to the Botanical Gardens

This option is ideal for those wishing to visit the most beautiful spots on the East Coast. You’ll also be taken to the Faaroa Botanical Gardens to begin your tour. You can then take advantage of these few hours to visit the Marae de Taputapuatea, for example, and head further south. After your escapade, you’ll be picked up at the Faaroa Botanical Garden. This package includes bike rental and transport, saving you 20 miles!

Things to Take With You

Make sure you wear closed shoes (no sandals!). Don’t forget to bring enough water for each person, a few snacks and the usual sun protection: cream, hat, sunglasses… In case of light rain, bring a light raincoat. Finally, make sure you have your identity papers and a method of payment to formalize the electric bike rental contract.

Booking Options

You can make a reservation online today using the booking options: number of participants, and the name of your hotel on Raiatea. To begin your reservation, simply click on “Book” and follow the booking process.

Availability Confirmation

Note that we will first confirm the availability of your booking before processing the payment. It means that you will not be charged right away if you use a credit card, or that you will have to wait the confirmation before sending a payment with a bank wire. As soon as we confirm availability, we’ll inform you by email. If there’s no availability on the chosen date, we’ll get back in touch with you to suggest another one.

Deposit and remaining balance

When booking online, you will only need to pay a 15% deposit to confirm your tour. You can pay the balance later, either by bank transfer or on site in Raiatea. For example, you can choose to pay your balance in person on the day of your tour.

Cancellation Policy

Please note our booking cancellation policy. At the very least, a cancellation fee of 15% will be charged. Less than one week before the tour date, the cancellation fee is 100%. If weather conditions do not allow the tour to be organized, and only after confirmation from the guide, cancellation fees do not apply and a full refund will be made.
