Your Boat For the Adventure

Your vessel for this adventure is a Holopuni sailing canoe. Native to the islands, it can accommodate up to five passengers. Its two outriggers make it very easy to navigate and provide excellent stability. With no motor, you’ll be propelled by the elements as you glide across the water!

Navigation on the Lagoon

Your canoe sails off the eastern coast of Raiatea. This is ideal, as this part of the island is wilder and the views are spectacular. You can get involved and try your hand at sailing. But you can also just sit back and let the wind carry you along. Your guide is an expert who will tailor the trip to suit sports enthusiasts, beginners, and children!

Snack on a Paradise Motu

Halfway there, you will stop at Motu Iriru. This little corner of paradise with its lush vegetation is the ideal place to enjoy a snack and refreshment. With showers and toilets, it also offers a welcome break. You will also discover one of the most beautiful beaches in Raiatea, perhaps for your first swim?

Snorkeling

Before climbing back on board, put on your mask and discover aquatic life as you’ve never seen it before. Just a few meters away, you can observe schools of colorful fish frolicking in the translucent waters of the lagoon. This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about marine wildlife.

Return to Base

After a 3.5-hour excursion, it’s time to return to base. Your half-day tour of Raiatea by sail canoe has come to an end. Less than one week before the tour date, cancellation charges are 100%. If weather conditions prevent the tour from taking place, and only after confirmation from the guide, cancellation fees do not apply and a full refund will be given.
