During a 3.5 hour boat trip, you will meet the largest mammals that inhabit the seas of French Polynesia. This is one of the best activities to do on the island. Program and Itinerary

Transfer From Your Hotel

The tour starts in the morning at 8:00 am and in the afternoon at 1:00 pm. In both cases, your guide will pick up directly at your hotel in Bora Bora. You will then go to the departure point of the tour and board a boat specially equipped for whale watching.

On Your Way to Open Sea

During the boat trip, your professional guide will give you all the necessary information for the tour. You will get the safety instructions but also everything you need to know about humpback whales to better prepare you to meet them: their migration, their natural environment and their behavior.

When Dolphins Are Greeting You

As soon as you leave the lagoon, dolphins show the tip of their beaks! These playful mammals accompany your boat for the greatest pleasure of the eyes. You will see them dancing in front of the bow of the boat. The day looks extraordinary!

Meeting Whales

Using a hydrophone, your guide will locate the whales and allow you to hear them sing. The long awaited encounter has finally arrived: in front of you the breath of a specimen, or even several. In complete safety, you will be able to observe them quietly and take the most beautiful photos of your trip.

Getting in the Water With the Whales

If the safety conditions are fulfilled, your guide will authorize you to get into the water. The crew will give you a mask and snorkel to fully appreciate the whale watching which is done with distance and respect. The moment is magical. Your guide will stay by your side to watch over you. Of course, you can also stay on board!

Back to Your Hotel

At the end of the tour, your guide will dropp you off at your hotel. This half day has almost gone by too fast! Whale watching in Bora Bora is an extraordinary experience for the most beautiful memory.

Cancellation Policy

Please note our booking cancellation policy. At the very least, tour cancellations incur a 15% booking fee. Less than 30 days before the tour date, a cancellation fee of 35% applies. Less than one week before the tour date, cancellation charges are 100%. If weather conditions prevent the tour from taking place, and only after confirmation from the guide, cancellation fees do not apply and a full refund will be given.
