Swim with dolphins, rays and sharks, and get a close-up look at humpback whales during an unforgettable day. Program and Itinerary

Pick-up at Your Hotel in Moorea

Your day begins a little before 8:00 am, with pick up at your hotel in Moorea. Your guide will pick you up and accompany you to the tour departure point, where your boat is waiting.

Whale Watching

The boat will take you to the place where the whales have been spotted to allow you to observe them in their natural habitat. This is a unique and privileged moment. Your guides will tell you all about the seasonal migration of these marine mammals and their stay in Moorea’s waters.

Swimming with Whales and Dolphins

French Polynesia is one of the few places where launching with whales is allowed. If you wish, and conditions permit, you can swim with these magnificent creatures. Your guides will be there to give you all the instructions to ensure a safe and respectful encounter with the animals. If groups of dolphins are spotted, it will also be possible to swim with them.

The Song of the Whales

With the hydrophone on board, you will be able to listen to the whales singing. These songs can be heard for hundreds of kilometers and scientists are still speculating about their exact meaning. With the underwater microphone, you will be able to hear them as if you were underwater.

Snorkeling with Rays and Sharks

Back in Moorea lagoon, you will snorkel with the various pelagic animals that live there. In addition to the multicolored tropical fish, you can meet stingrays, black tip sharks, as well as peaceful sea turtles feeding on seaweed.

Lunch on a Sandbar or Private Beach

For lunch, you will stop on a sandbar or a private beach on the island. Throughout the excursion, you will have refreshments and fresh local fruit.

Drop-off to Your Hotel in Moorea

The tour will end around 3pm. Once the boat has returned to port, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Moorea, your head filled with memories of this day spent with cetaceans…
